A sculpture of 4 elements made of burnt wood, black clay and brown structured clay with a transparant gloss glaze inside (Merging Matter, 2025). A playful series of stackable sculptures inspired by the ancient practice of stone cairns marking the landscape. Made by Mering Matter from local sourced wood and clay, each piece explores balance, form and natural texture – shifting from sculpture into vase, lidded pot or plate, depending on how you stack and use it.
